Prime Minister’s Meetings

Asked what the Prime Minister would be saying with Senator McCain during their meeting later today, the PMOS said they would talk on a variety of issues, including climate change.

Asked what the Prime Minister had discussed with Prime Minister Raffarin during his meeting earlier, the PMOS replied that they had discussed a range of European issues. These included economic reform, education, the EU constitution and other relevant topics.

Asked what Prime Minister Raffarin had said about the potential ‘no’ vote in France to the EU Constitution on the grounds that it was too British, the PMOS said it was a mistake to get involved in the internal affairs of another country.
