When asked about Syrian refugee resettlement the Prime Minister?s Official Spokesperson (PMOS) said that refugees would continue to arrive in the UK in an extension of the existing asylum seeker resettlement programme, which has already seen over 200 Syrian refugees resettled in the UK. This is in addition to a further 5,000 Syrians granted asylum in the UK since the conflict began.
