Prime Minister’s Visit to France
Asked what the Prime Minister would discuss in his meetings with President Jacques Chirac and President Elect Nicolas Sarkozy, the Prime Minister's Spokesman (PMS) said that with President Chirac this was a private meeting as they had worked closely together over the last decade, and whilst he was in Paris it was appropriate that the Prime Minister called in to see the President.

Scottish Election
Asked what the relationship between the Prime Minister and the new First Minister for Scotland would be, what kind of relationship would the Prime Minister like to have with Alex Salmond, the PMS said that it would be best to deal with questions about next week, next week.

Asked if it were the case the Prime Minister would attend PMQs on the 27th June before going to see HM The Queen to resign as Prime Minister, the PMS said that again it would be wise to wait for the exact details and timings the day until nearer the time.
