Asked whether there had been any discussion between the Prime Minister and President Bush about the next phase of US strategy in Iraq, the PMS said the Prime Minister spoke to President Bush on a regular basis, but he was not going to get into content or substance. Asked whether the Prime Minister had met General Petraeus, the PMS said the Prime Minister had met the General several months ago.
