Asked whether the PMS could expand more on the meeting, the PMS said the meeting with business leaders was to discuss the local employment partnerships and was something we first announced in the budget. It was about the Department of Work & Pensions working together with business leaders to make more jobs available through Job Centre Plus. The companies that attended the breakfast this morning were Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer, Alliance, Network Rail, Debenhams and Securitas, among others.
