What a shame for poor Alastair. I bet David Kelly was feeling a bit depressed himself when he took his life, at least partly because of the pressure exerted by Campbell and Blair to spin the intelligence and its ramifications. Like the grotesquerie in Washington, our government and its consultants have crossed every line of ethical and political decency which exists. For Campbell to play for the sympathy vote on the grounds of depression in the light of the Kelly case is like Bernard Manning applying to the Race Equality Commission for a grant.
Comment by Morris — 9 Oct 2006 on 9:55 pm | LinkWhat should happen is that a fucking big cruise missile should come through his roof, blow his obnoxious "partner" and doubtless vile spoiled "kids" into pieces and while he’s shuffling about looking for pieces of liver and brain and eyeballs to bury Fuckwit Hoon should stroll past and simper to him that collateral damage is the price we pay for democracy. And then he should be put in prison for a very long time
