Asked if what Margaret Beckett had said on WMD today was correct, that the Government knew that the 15 minute claim was erroneous before the vote in Parliament, The Prime Minister’s Official Spokesman (PMOS) said that he had not heard what Margaret Beckett had said but that there had been four inquiries into this matter and there was nothing further to add.

In other words ‘Let’s move on and hope that people will forget the meticulous effort we put into spinning and lying this country into a disastrous, murderous war’. Thank’s Margaret and PMOS.
Comment by Brian — 21 Dec 2006 on 11:14 pm | LinkTotal bullshit. There have been no inquiries into this matter. There were four inquiries, sure, but none of them was allowed to look at the real issue, all four skirted the problem, and the results were all total whitewashes anyway. The PMOS is a liar. Well, that’s a given – he’s a civil servant, that’s his job! Lies to protect lies. Looking at the depth of the lies that have been told by this government, can anyone imagine what the real truth actually is? When we are talking conspiracy on this scale, is ANY conspiracy too monstrous to consider?!
