Asked what role the Attorney General played, the PMOS said that it was entirely a matter for the Attorney General who had an independent role which we completely respected.
Asked who would advise the Prime Minister on legal matters if it was not the Attorney General, the PMOS replied that the question was a hypothetical one, and like all hypothetical questions, he would refer the journalist to his answers on them in the past.
