Asked if the police had been in touch, the PMOS said no. Asked how people would know if the police had been in touch with the Prime Minister, as the police could go through the Labour party lawyers, the PMOS said that he would be as clear as he could be when he was able to. Asked what would happen if it happened at a weekend as journalists did not see the PMOS at weekends, the PMOS said that although it was unfortunate, some people had his mobile number.
