Asked if there was any possibility of a Government bail out for commercial TV stations, the PMS said that ITV was a valuable part of the broadcasting landscape and we were currently in discussions with all major broadcasters about the future provision of public service broadcasting as part of the Digital Britain Review, which would report in the summer. We were looking at all options for the future of public service broadcasting and had invited organisations to come forward with proposals.
