Asked whether the Prime Minister agreed with Phil Woolas s comments about the release of statistics on foreign workers, the PMS replied that as he had said this morning, Phil Woolas had set out his reasoning for writing to the Fabian Society, which was to correct a claim made that he had chosen to publish those statistics, when in fact it was the ONS that had taken the decision to publish them.
