Asked how it was possible for Harriet Harman to make the mistake of saying that Sir Fred Goodwin had received his knighthood for his work for the Princes Trust rather than his services to banking, the PMS said that Harriet Harman had corrected the record very quickly. She said in the House, I think that his services were to the Princes Trust, not to banking, but she was very happy to correct that afterwards.
