Asked whether the Prime Minister would be watching Tony Blair’s speech, the PMS said that the Prime Minister always watched the leading news channels and if he didn’t, his aides would brief him.
Asked if the Prime Minister watched the Chancellor’s debate last night, the PMS said that the Prime Minister was aware of the debate and as people would know, the Prime Minister had made his views clear about his confidence in the Chancellor and all he was doing for the Government.
