Put that companies including Google and Yahoo had attacked the Digital Review and had written a letter to Lord Mandelson, the PMS said that the letter had only arrived today and people should ask for a considered response from Lord Mandelson’s team.
Asked if this meant the Bill was not as well thought through as it should have been, the PMS said that these bills were all very carefully considered and there was always an opportunity for people to express their views before the bill was completed.
