Asked if the Prime Minister was concerned that a referee at a Chelsea game yesterday had to be smuggled out of the ground by the police, the PMS said that he hadn t had the chance to speak to the Prime Minister about that particular subject.
Asked if the Prime Minister thought that there was envy in some parts of the European football establishment regarding the success of the English Premier League, the PMS said that the Prime Minister was focusing on his job, which was running the Government and being the Prime Minister of the country.
