Asked what was on the agenda for the meeting with Sepp Blatter and at what stage was our bid for the 2018 World Cup, the PMS replied that they would raise a wide range of issues, including discussions on the 2018 World Cup acquisitive bid among other things. The Prime Minister had made it clear that he would support a bid if the Football Association decided to go forward with a bid.
