Asked what the Prime Minister thought about the performance of the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA), the PMS said that the Prime Minister shared the sentiments of the Deputy Prime Minister set out yesterday where he said that IPSA’s operating practices needed to be strengthened and improved, but the fundamental principle of having the administration of expenses and pay administered independently remained.
