Asked if there had been any contact with US authorities over the website which called on people to track MPs and listed the names of MPs who voted for the Iraq War, the PMS advised people to speak to the Home Office. The Government was encouraging other countries to remove these websites.
Asked if Downing Street had contacted US authorities about the websites in question, the PMS said people should speak to the Home Office.
