Asked if the Prime Minister welcomed the decision by President Obama to attend the Copenhagen Summit, the PMS said that if it had indeed been confirmed, then he was sure the Prime Minister would welcome it. Put that it had been announced that President Obama would be attending the start of the summit and would it not be more useful to attend at the end when decisions were being made, the PMS said that the whole summit would be important.
