Asked if the Government supported a second election run-off and implications for troop deployment, the PMS said troop deployment was dependent on three conditions, one of which was making sure the Afghan Government was able and willing to support additional troops. The PMS said the situation was fluid and he would be able to make further comment when the certified election result was received.
