Asked whether there would be announcement on the Gurkhas, the PMS said there was no announcement planned today on Gurkhas, although if the issue was raised in PMQs, of course the Prime Minister would comment.
Asked if the Prime Minister had come to a conclusion about what to do about the Gurkhas, the PMS said the Government would make an announcement on the issue when it was in a position to.
Asked what the proposals would be on Gurkas and if it was true they would give all Gurkhas rights previously only afforded to some of them, the PMS said he would not comment on speculation.
