Asked if the Prime Minister would react to being compared to Harold Wilson by the Deputy Prime Minister the PMOS said that he had not seen the DPM’s comments and the comments are a matter for the DPM. The Prime Minister would be carrying on his job as normal. In response to further questioning the PMOS restated that the Prime Minister had set on his position on the matter and that he had nothing further to add.
