Lance Corporal Matthew Hull

Asked if there was a reaction from the Prime Minister regarding the verdict of unlawful killing of Lance Corporal Matthew Hull, the PMS said that she could not comment as the verdict was just announced as she came to brief the parliamentary lobby. She added that as the Prime Minister had set out previously, we had expressed regret for the distress that had been caused to the families involved, but in terms of the inquiry and the inquest she was unable to react further at this stage.

Maybe the Pentagon will offer Matty Hull’s widow conscience money of the type with which they insulted this Afghan family who were also victims of their incompetent brutality:

matthew was a friend of mine a long time ago we used to go to the local youth club together and were also in the army cadets together i knew his family very well i think after watching and listening to the clip that the verdict was not only disgraceful it was wrong the pilots obviously knew what they had done they could not distinguish between a british tank and an enemy missile launcher so therefore they should not be flying an aeroplane but also should have been charged in someway for his death.
