Andy Burnham

Asked for the Prime Minister’s response to reports that Andy Burnham did a deal with Libya regarding training in the NHS, the PMS said that we had consistently said that no deals were made. Andy Burnham had commented on this and there was nothing further to add.

Asked if the Prime Minister was aware that a memorandum was signed, the PMS said that he would find out.

Asked if the Prime Minister could reassure the British public that a deal had not been made, the PMS said that no deal was made.
