Asked what the Prime Minister had meant when he was asked about the prospect of a hung parliament during his interview this morning, the PMS said that any questions about what the Prime Minister would or would not do after an election were hypothetical. Any political questions about the party leadership should be addressed the Prime Minister’s political spokesman.
Asked if the Prime Minister was cheered by a report today on the UK’s credit rating, the PMS said that we did not comment on individual company’s credit rating reports. The Prime Minister was focussed on the fact that the UK economy was coming out of recession.
