Haiti

Asked if the conversation between the Prime Minister and President Obama had been the first time the two had spoken since the disaster in Haiti, the PMS said yes it had been the first conversation since the earthquake.

Asked if the Prime Minister had views on the US and French disputes in Haiti, the PMS said the most important thing was to ensure a properly co-ordinated international effort on the ground in Haiti and that all the nations involved in relief efforts remained focussed on helping the people of Haiti.
