Asked if the Prime Minister thought that most people in the public sector should not get paid more than 150, 000, the PMS said that was not the case; the Prime Minister thought that there should be more accountability and transparency in public sector pay.
Put that the Prime Minister had mentioned getting Government services online in the next five years and asked what that meant for people without computers, the PMS said that we were not under-estimating this challenge but our Digital Britain initiative was looking to make sure that everyone in the country had access to broadband by 2012. There were plenty of opportunities for people to access computers outside the home and the Government was committed to universal coverage.
