Asked about the accusation that Britain was involved in a bombing in south-west Iran yesterday, the PMS said that the Foreign Office had put out a statement on this yesterday and there was nothing further to add. On a wider level, it was important that we continued on the diplomatic track with Iran, and there was a meeting of technical experts in Vienna today, which was an important part of the process that had been set out at the UN.
