Baroness Scotland

Asked whether Baroness Scotland s position was still secure, the PMS said that the UK Borders Agency had investigated the matter thoroughly and they had found there was no intention of wrongdoing. They had then taken the action that they deemed appropriate. The Prime Minister was satisfied with the findings of the UKBA report and the PMS referred people to further comments that Baroness Scotland herself had made over the weekend.

Asked whether the Prime Minister had full confidence in Baroness Scotland, the PMS said the Prime Minister had not changed his position on Baroness Scotland.
