Asked if there was any discussion on the economy in Cabinet and if the Prime Minister had any views on the latest forecasts, or if he sensed things might be turning around, the PMS said we stood by our forecasts in the budget, but there was no discussion specifically in the official cabinet and that the Government s forecasts were set out at the time of the budget.
