Put that the latest mortgage figures were extremely weak, and asked if the Prime Minister was concerned, the PMS replied we had seen a very welcome announcement from RBS this morning on repossessions, and this followed previous announcements on overdrafts charges for small businesses. So there was progress being made in how the banks were operating and how they were fulfilling their commitments, but clearly we needed to see more.
