US Visit

Asked whether the Prime Minister would be meeting Jim Leach or Madeleine Albright while he was in Washington, the Prime Minister s Spokesman (PMS) told the assembled press that he was not aware of a separate scheduled meeting, but given that they were all attending the same G20 meeting, he would not rule it out. Asked if the Government had asked for a meeting, the PMS replied that we had not requested one.
