Asked whether the Prime Minister was happy that the Government would not have a representative on Question Time this evening, the PMS said that who appeared on Question Time was really a matter for Question Time. Asked what would happen if Question Time issued the invitation again, the PMS repeated that it was a matter for Question Time to decide who they wanted to invite and then for Ministers to decide whether they wanted to participate. Asked if the Prime Minister would be happy for the Immigration Minister to appear on Question Time if the invite was issued again, the PMS said it was a matter for the Home Secretary to consider.
