Asked what the Prime Minister and his Greek counterpart would be discussing, the PMS said they would be discussing the economy and the European response to the global financial situation. They were likely to touch on bilateral issues, including Cyprus. The Prime Minister had met the Cypriot Prime Minister last week when he was in Brussels.
