Asked about the possibility of a reshuffle, the PMS said that the Prime Minister was very focused on economic issues at the moment.
Asked why the BBC had confidently predicted a reshuffle in the next couple of days, the PMS said that there was always speculation about reshuffles. A lot of newspapers and other outlets had been writing similar speculation last week.
Asked if the Prime Minister was concerned that he had a Transport Secretary who had indicated that she no longer wanted that job, the PMS said that the Transport Secretary had announced her intention to step down at the reshuffle whenever that might happen, and the Prime Minister was satisfied with those arrangements.
