Asked for an update on the Prime Minister’s plans for tomorrow once he got to Lisbon, the PMS replied that it was anticipated that the Prime Minister would be able to attend some of the lunch and would then sign the treaty. If there was any time for bilateral meetings, they would happen after that point. Asked what time the lunch was scheduled to start, the PMS said that it would start at some point after 1pm.
Asked if there would be footage of the Prime Minister signing the treaty, the PMS replied that she would be very surprised if there wasn’t photographic evidence of the occasion.
