Put that the Prime Minister had made clear this morning that he wanted to get on with governing and asked about his vision for the future re his conference speech, the PMS said that the Prime Minister had set out his position on the future direction the country needed to take many times before and would continue to do that; he would continue to demonstrate how that was being backed up by action.
Put that recent events had left the Prime Minister looking ‘indecisive and lacking voracity’ and that that was as close as you could get to saying that he had been lying re opinion polls and the general election, the PMS said that they were party matters and the Prime Minister had answered questions on all these matters at his press conference last week.
