Asked if the Prime Minister wished Michael Meacher well in his endeavours, the PMOS replied that the best thing for him to say was probably that Mr Meacher would get on with his life and we would get on with ours.

God forbid!! Personally I wish Michael Meacher all the best, and I fervently hope he DOES win the leadership contest. Won’t happen of course; Meacher has upset far too many people with his support of the 9/11 Truth Movement and other contentious, anti-Establishment issues such as climate chance and government corruption. I’d say expect the smear machine to go into action pretty soon, but it already has; if you hadn’t noticed, check out the BBC news article which announced his decision to run – it had another Labour MP telling us how all the other MPs have no idea who Meacher is, and the ones that do think he’s a prat. Nicely unbiased reporting from the governments publicly-funded propoganda ministry…
