Asked about a letter from the Iranian President to President Bush, the PMOS said that as the Americans had not yet received the letter, it was difficult to have a view on it.

Well, it’s ‘in the post’ then, isn’t it? And we all know what that means, don’t we?
Then there’s going to be the delay while someone is found to tranlate it from the Farsi, then Bush is going to have to learn to read, then Cheney’s going to have to explain what it means, then Rumsfeld is going to have to draw up his war plan, then etc etc…….

That just about sums it up, really. This US Administration is hell bent on conflict with Iran, same as they were with Iraq, and it seems they aren’t going to let anything like communication get in the way.

"I certainly don’t know the ins and outs of internal Iranian politics"
One has to ask if that is the case why is she Secretary of State?
and – if she is that clueless why is she involving herself in negotiations about Iranian nuclear developments.
