As a British Citizen, I am disgusted to see how Britain has lost its standing in this world. We were proud to be of a highly cultured nation, with a backbone that was the envy of the whole world. Americans use to admire the British for their education, culture, and ethics until we have lost it all to the American way of life. Even our language has deteriorated to such extent that we need to return to basic education. Our high streets are full of junk american food, out TV’s are full of violent thrash dished out by the americans. How sad to see even our elected Prime Minister pussy-footing to the American whims. We might as well join the US as a further star in their banner.Maybe we might see some positive benefit rather than unfulfilled promises.
