Put that the Prime Minister had said in interviews this morning that Pakistan had a lot of questions to answer and did he raise any of those questions when talking to President Zadari and Prime Minister Gilani last night, the PMS referred people to the read-out given last night. When asked when the Prime Minister would be asking those questions and to whom, the PMS replied that the Prime Minister had been making some general points. This was a US operation and we would need to monitor events in the coming days. The PMS also referred people to what the Pakistani Government themselves had been saying. On when the Prime Minister was first made aware of the US operation, the PMS said that the Prime Minister had spoken to President Obama on the phone at around 3am on Monday morning. Asked if the Prime Minister had seen the footage of the operation, the PMS said that he had not. On whether there would now be a heightened risk of an attack in the UK, the PMS replied that the Home Secretary had made a statement yesterday, asking people to remain vigilant.
