Kabul Attacks
« Haiti Update | Back to most recent briefing | Misc »
We condemn this attack in the strongest possible terms, and send our thoughts and sympathies to those that have been killed on injured.
This indiscriminate attack on public areas of Kabul showed a deliberate disregard for the lives of ordinary Afghans.
We and the rest of the international community stand united with the Government of Afghanistan. This incident only strengthens our resolve to build a safer, more secure Afghanistan, to protect the Afghan population, and to make sure Al Qaeda can never again use Afghanistan as a base for attacks on Britain or elsewhere.

Hi,
I am based in Dubai, UAE, have an offer from a telco in Kabul, wonder if it is safe to travel / work there? Browsing the net getting mixed, mostly negative signals. Proposed to be stationed at an expat compound with minimal travelling, mostly Kabul.
Will appreciate your guidance.
Imran
