Asked if the Prime Minister had spoken to Tony Blair in the last 24 hours, the PMS said he was not aware of any call however the Prime Minister remained supportive of a potential Tony Blair candidacy for EU President. The Prime Minister had said that after the Czech courts decision the issue had moved a step forward in terms of ratification of the treaty.
