Ministers’ Expenses

Asked if there were plans to publish Ministers expenses this week, the PMS said that Ministers had been asked to finalise their receipts with the Fees Office by close of business today. There then needed to be a procedure in order to allow them to be published and we expected that to happen in the next week or so.

Asked if individual Ministers would be publishing their own expenses through their websites, the PMS said that it was a matter for individual Ministers, but the general expectation was that we would do them en mass when they were ready.

Asked if it would include the Prime Minister s expenses, the PMS said yes.

  1. Whatever some MP’s might have done, none have damaged the country like the lousy, stinking bankers have done. The BBC never bothered their corporate arse about their City buddies disappearing billions of pounds but woe betide any MP who-despite acting within the rules laid down-makes a claim for a few quid. When next the BBC send about eighty of their employees overseas to cover the Olympics or the World Cup MP’s should demand to see the hotel bills etc.run up by these BBC staff.
