Inheritance Tax

Asked if the Prime Minister was in favour of getting rid of inheritance tax the PMS said that the Government had responded to the story in that inheritance tax is a fair and necessary means of raising revenue for public services, and affected only the top 6% of all estates.

This is misleading because it does not make clear that IHT affects 6% of estates per year.
