When asked about the Foreign Secretary?s earlier comments on air strikes in Syria, the Prime Minister?s spokesperson (PMS) said the point was made in reference to Parliament?s decision last year on air strikes against the Assad regime. The PMS explained that with regard to ISIL, we had a group that operated beyond recognised borders and that the international community needed to take a comprehensive approach. He added that with regard to air power, we were not at the stage of taking specific decisions but the Prime Minister had not ruled anything out.
