Leveson
Asked whether there was cross Government agreement that Leveson proposals should be published by the Conservative Party, the PMS said that there was agreement on publishing, and that talks continued with a view to finding a cross party agreement on the content of proposals.

Benefits
Asked whether the PM and Chancellor were going to look at the proposed change in benefits for those with spare rooms in social housing, the PMS said that the plans were exactly as the Government had set out. They were part of an important programme of welfare reform that the Government was pursuing.

Economy
