Put that the Equalities Commission seemed to be in chaos due to half of its commissioners resigning, the PMS said that it was the Prime Minister s view that the Equalities Commission was doing a good job and would continue to do so.

Asked if there was any reaction following Damian McBride s interviews, the PMS said that there was not.

Asked if there was any reaction to the England cricket team s win over the Australians, the PMS replied that the Prime Minister had been following the cricket; this was clearly a good win for England today and he looked forward to the rest of the series.
