Asked if there was a deliberate reason why the parliamentary lobby had not been told about the housing breakfast the Prime Minister and Ruth Kelly hosted this morning, the PMOS said no, the same practice had been followed with similar breakfast events week in, week out. Asked again why it had not been mentioned, the PMOS said that it was not a common practice to constantly preview breakfasts that he has with various groups. Asked if the breakfast was a last minute thing, the PMOS said that the meeting had been timetabled for a long time.
