Asked if the Prime Minister had spoken to officials in Iraq or the Iraqi government regarding the planned execution of Saddam Hussein when he was in the country in December the Prime Minister's Spokesman (PMS) referred reporters to the lobby briefings given by the PMOS at the time.
Prime Ministerial Contact
Asked if the Prime Minister had been in telephone contact with any world leaders such as President Bush whilst he has been on holiday, the PMS said that the Prime Minister had regular calls with various people while he was away but that details of every conversation would not be briefed.
